
I have been an educator and Girls Basketball coach for the 33 years and have enjoyed many years of success at the highest level in my field winning over 500 games in my career.

My husband, Dave, and I have lived in Colleyville for eighteen years. Our daughter, Kylie, is a senior and a proud member of the Colleyville Heritage High School graduating class of 2026.

We had the honor of adopting our daughter, Kylie, over eighteen years ago and we are grateful that her birth mother is still an active part of all of lives.

In April 2018, scans indicated I had a mass on the front left side of my brain near my forehead. Through the support of the community, I was able to battle cancer!

Treat everyone with respect even if I disagree with their decision or ideas because they are people and deserve to feel valued.
I know what it's like to teach in the classroom in GCISD because I did it for over 20 years and as a member of the current GCISD Board of Trustees, I know the challenges, the obstacles and how to do the job... there will be no pause in my dedication to moving us forward!
I can do “hard things”. For example, I was back to teaching and coaching 4 months after brain surgery. I continued to work from 2018-2022 with brain cancer with the same teaching and coaching schedule while undergoing monthly chemo in 2021-2022.
